Bazaar is a Person to Person online marketplace, used to sell and buy any and all kinds of products.

  • Implemented Passport for Authenticating backend routes and JSON Web Token for Authorization of the user.
  • In addition manual sign-up Google OAuth Login is also implemented so as to get user information like email, display picture etc. and quick login.
  • Used Local Storage for caching data like JWT and other user related data so that users don't have to login again and again.
  • Using libraries like Reselect and Redux-persist for local storage caching and persisted store respectively considerably improved the performance.

Meme-Hub is a social media platform, primarily used for sharing memes, giving a glimpse of 9gag.

  • Built login, sign-up and forget password functionality with validations in both frontend and backend. Also used Bcrypt for hashing passwords providing an extra layer of security.
  • Implemented Like and Comment features. Like and unlike feature was the trickiest as only logged in users could use it and like count also had to be maintained at the same time.
  • Uploading images and videos was done using Multer in the backend and to save those files Coludinary, ultimately the file link from Coludinary was saved in Mongodb Atlas
